MaxAiir’s Inflatapark at 190 W. Center Street in downtown Marion gives children and teens a safe place to bounce and play.

One place where Marion kids are welcome to literally bounce off the walls is MaxAiir Inflatapark at 190 W. Center Street in downtown Marion.

“I love to hear kids laughing as they play,” said Chris DePuy, owner.

Chris and the DePuy family started MaxAiir as a family-owned party and event rental business in 2017. It was originally called Infinite Inflatables.

“We focus on fun, flexibility and fantastic customer service,” DePuy said.

From Rentals to a Full Inflatapark

The DePuy family brought bounce houses, character visits, tables, chairs, and tents to events in Marion and the surrounding counties.

In 2022 the family expanded to 3,000 square feet of indoor bounce action, giving families a chance to stay active and entertained year-round. They renamed the company MaxAiir.

“Kids can come and burn off that energy no matter what the weather,” DePuy said.

The inflatapark includes giant slides, a jump pit, a ninja wall, a rock wall and an arcade. Families can also book private balcony party bays that overlook the action, making birthdays and celebrations both exciting and stress-free.

For Every Age & Stage

For small children, Little Leapers sessions offer a way for those under 48” to enjoy the park.

“It helps them get the wiggles out,” DePuy said.

MaxAiir also hosts sensory-friendly jump nights in partnership with the Marion County Board of Developmental Disabilities, offering an inclusive play environment. In addition, once a month, a portion of the $8 admission benefits the local Boys & Girls Club.

On Fridays, kids can bounce for just $5 an hour. One parent recently commented she enjoyed watching her kids bounce while drinking her favorite coffee in a massage chair.

Rentals Beyond the Park

For those throwing parties at other locations, MaxAiir offers its signature rentals including bounce houses, obstacle courses, dunk tanks and more. One graduating class happily rented inflatables and the dunk tank for their senior picnic.

“It was a blast! Numerous students and teachers enjoyed being in the dunk tank!” one reviewer wrote. “[We had] very, very good communication from the start! Extremely punctual and professional! Highly recommend renting items from them in the future!”

“It’s a point of pride,” DePuy said. “We want everyone to have a great experience.”

Not afraid of heights, MaxAiir offers custom professional Christmas light installations.

“You don’t have to risk your life like Clark Griswold,” DePuy joked. “We will bring our ladders and make your house light up the neighborhood.”
