TAILORED FOR YOUR COMMUNITY NEEDS

In 1977, Marion Goodwill Industries branched off from the Columbus Goodwill agency and made their mark here in our community. This year marks their 40-year anniversary serving Marion County.

Goodwill serves people through the following programs: Housing, Emergency Clothing, Wheels-to-Work, Job Readiness with students, Summer Youth, Education and Training Center, and Job Preparation. These programs help youth and adults gain job seeking skills, help with job placement, receive clothing for interviews and emergency needs, find affordable and accessible housing, and provide cars for workers needing reliable transportation.

Many of the programs receive referrals from community partners in the area, such as emergency clothing programs. This program is for individuals who are referred from Turning Point, Job and Family Services, Marion Matters, The Heart of Ohio Homeless Shelters and others.

Our Marion Goodwill is one of 160 Goodwill’s in the United States; yet, the programs they offer are tailored for our local community needs. There are 15 professionals that serve on the Board of Trustees and the organization employs 79 individuals between the corporate, marketing, and training offices.
