Mennel Popcorn

By MarionMade! on April 25, 2018

MENNEL POPCORN IS POPPIN’ IN MARION COUNTY.

Mennel Popcorn is the newest member of the Mennel Milling family. A first-rate supplier of quality popcorn varieties for domestic as well as international snack food manufacturers, concessionaires, theaters, and more, they use popcorn from the fields of Ohio and the Midwest.

From seed procurement through packaging and delivery, Mennel is committed to investing in quality control, food safety, and improved new hybrids for the theatre, concessionaires and snack food industries. Purchased from ConAgra in 2015, their state-of-the-art facility supplies more than 125 million pounds of popcorn per year nationally as well as around the world. Their bagging line has the capability of filling and palletizing a variety of bag and tote sizes.

And they are proud of their certifications-HACCP, Certified Organic, Kosher, BRC, Non-GMO. Not only are they keeping the tradition of popcorn processing in Marion County but they are also a strong support of the community. Their staff participated in the Popcorn Festival, selling their product at a booth. From this booth, they donated their profits to the Wyandot Popcorn Museum and to MarionMade!. We want to thank Mennel Popcorn for their wonderful donation and support!
