Sakamura USA

By MarionMade! on August 23, 2017

SAKAMURA USA.

Sakamura USA is a service facility for cold, warm, and hot forging machines. We are the only branch in the United States, right here in the heart of Ohio. Our headquarters, Sakamura Machine Company, is located in Kyoto, Japan and employs over 100 people. Sakamura Machine Company was founded in 1959 by Mr. Yoshikazu Sakamura. Our motto at Sakamura USA is: “Keep it Simple, Act with Speed, and Provide Excellent Service.”

The USA branch was established in 1997 and now has just over 20 employees. We may be small in number, but we are big in business!

Sakamura machines forge parts for the automobile, aerospace, construction, and medical supply industries. These global industries impact the economy significantly and create job security for many people. The parts that our machinists make are sent out with the MarionMade! logo upon shipment to customers all across North America. Sakamura U.S.A. believes that if our community thrives, this will positively affect our business. We believe education and economy are the keys to overcoming poverty.

We are actively impacting our community by donating to local organizations such as the Marion City Firefighters, Safety City of Marion, Marion Matters, and the YMCA. Currently we are working on school supply donations for the 2017/2018 school year. We have made a sizable donation to Ohio State Marion’s new Science & Engineering building. Our HR Dept. is actively searching for employees within the local school systems of Harding and Tri‐Rivers. We have had internships with Marion Tech & OSUM. We also recruit employees from outside of Marion, which supports the economy by bringing in new residents.
